The Royal Horticulture Garden at Wisley is acclaimed by gardeners throughout the world and holds your interest in every season. The garden is a fountain of knowledge of design, plant care and new plant demonstration gardens. We'll visit during the summer season when the herbaceous borders and rose garden are at their peak. The vegetable and herb gardens are excellent examples of the design possibilities for the home garden. Wisley is widely recognized for the flower and vegetable trials conducted to compare the quality, performance and garden value of a wide variety of plants.

 Crossing this pond is the start of the famous rock garden.
They didn't just have one rose garden, they must have had 4! Someone remarked that this place was like a feast and there was no way you could enjoy it all. I spent most of my time id-ing plants so I didn't take a lot of pictures. On our way to the Cotswolds, we'll stop at the lovely village of Woodsock for some afternoon antiquing.
